Getting the right fit
This collar slides over the dog's head — it does not separate like a prong collar or fasten with a buckle like a leather collar. To find your size, measure your dog's neck circumference and also measure from under the chin, up over the head and ears, and back to under the chin. Choose a collar at least 5cm (approximately 2 inches) longer than the measured neck size. If you already own a slip or choke collar that fits well, lay it flat and measure end to end.
