The Herm Sprenger Fur Saver dog check collar is a long-link stainless steel chain collar made in Germany — a trusted choice for dog training, showing, dog sports, hunting, and security work.

Every ring and swivel is stamped with the quality mark HS-Germany, so you can easily verify the collar's origin. Stainless steel models also carry a metal tag with a red dot and the stamp HS-GERMANY INOX on all rings and swivels.

This collar fits by sliding over your dog's head — it does not separate like a prong collar and has no adjustable buckle. Getting the size right matters. Herm Sprenger recommend the collar length be at least 5 cm (roughly 2 inches) longer than your dog's measured neck. To be thorough, measure two ways: around the neck, and from under the chin, up over the head and ears, and back to under the chin. If you already own a slip or check collar that fits well, lay it flat and measure end to end.
